Getting
There - From Edinburgh
The drive is about 70 miles, or about 1-1/2 hours. Leaving Edinburgh,
cross the legendary Forth Road Bridge (Toll bridge northbound:
80p) Join the M90 motorway and then the A9 Perth-to-Inverness
trunk road. Leave the A9 at Ballinluig and follow the A827 alongside
the River Tay to Aberfeldy. Dewar's World of Whisky is on your
left, just before you get into the town, right in the grounds
of John Dewar & Sons' Aberfeldy Distillery.
From Glasgow The 90-mile drive takes roughly 1-3/4 hours.
Leave Glasgow on the M80 (A80) signposted for Stirling. At Junction
9, join the M9 and then the A9 northbound. Stay on the A9, past
Gleneagles, famous among golfers, to Perth. Stay on the A9 going
north to Ballinluig. Follow the A827 along the River Tay to Aberfeldy.
Dewar's World of Whisky is on your left, before you enter the
town.
Parking / Reception
- Parking is up the drive and off to the right. Reception
is signposted as Dewar's 'World of Whisky'. Enter over a wooden
causeway to the first floor of the former maltings, transformed
for the millenium into into a multi-media exhibition centre.

Disabled Access
There is full wheelchair access to Dewar's World of Whisky. The
Distillery is unfortunately not accessible by wheelchair.
Foreign Visitors
Translations Audio guides are available in English, Spanish, French,
Japanese and German.
Private Parties
From time to time Dewar's World of Whisky may be closed for a
private party or company event. To be safe, phone ahead to confirm
