Ladyburn
was built in 1966 as a Lowland partner to the Highland Glenfiddich.
It closed in the mid 70's.
It was originally sold as a single malt in limited bottlings that were
sent to the US. Otherwise, most of the distillery output went into the
Grant's blend.
There have been independent bottlings in the past but they have become
rare. There is a rumor that William Grant & Sons, the owner of Ladyburn
(as well as Glenfiddich and Balvenie) has laid aside 30 casks that will
eventually be sold as a collector's single malt.
